CONFLIENCE, who has been a model of consistency this season with a win, two seconds and two thirds from as many outings, looks ready for a comeback win in the RM35,000 Perfect Hideaway Tioman Island Stakes for Table 1 horses over 1400m (Race 5, 3.10pm) at the one-day Novelty race meeting in Kuala Lumpur on Merdeka Day today.
The five-year-old Australian gelding by Zentsov, who arrived unraced in August 2008, has three wins, three seconds and three thirds in 12 outings to date. He went three up beating Blue Spirit by three parts of a length in a Class 3 event over 1200m in yielding going in April and clocked 1:10.33.
