KUALA TERENGGANU: Nine-year-old Mohd Hakimi Aris has been busy since the start of Ramadan, thanks to the back-to- back invitations for breaking of fast from hotels and other establishments.

Hakimi became the newest resident of Darul Hilmi Orphanage in Teluk Ketapang here after his father passed away about a month ago.

The Year Three pupil at Sekolah Kebangsaan Teluk Ketapang said he faced little trouble adjusting to his new life away from his mother in Kampung Losong.

"Everybody has been kind to me and I like being around the other 18 residents, our caretakers and the head of the household whom we all refer to as 'ayah' (father)," he said at a breaking of …
