from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- Staff of Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) have used their savings from the free water they receive to help the poor and needy settle their water bill arrears.

Syabas executive chairman Tan Sri Rozali Ismail said today 100 staff contributed their savings from the monthly 20 cubic metres of free water amounting to RM136.80 per household for one year for the "Free Water for the Needy" programme of the company.

The total of RM13,680 from the 100 staff would be used to help the poor, single mothers and the disabled to settle their water bill arrears, he told reporters after handing …
