SHARE prices on Bursa Malaysia staged their follow-through rebounds last week, bucking the consolidation trend on regional stock markets.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) continued to stay above its critical support of 1,400 when it closed at 1,411.05 points on Friday.

Key heavyweight index-linked counters led the market rebounds last week.

The FBM KLCI staged a successful breakout of its overhead resistance of 1,400 when it hit its intra-week high of 1,415.28 last Friday.
