Romero-led Harbour Centre's plans to go public put on hold.

The listing of a port operator led by businessman Reghis M. Romero II has been put on hold, the company's underwriter said late last week.

Banco de Oro (BDO) Capital and Investment Corp. had advised Harbour Centre Port Holdings, Inc. to halt the plan amid pending cases against the port operator.

But BDO Capital is arranging a new public listing for this year, its top executive said.

"[The listing of Harbour Centre] is postponed in the meantime. They are a good [company] but they are in hot water right now," Eduardo V. Francisco, president of BDO Capital and Investment Corp., told reporters at the sidelines of the 4th …
