Thailand: TEC forum to kick off next month to boost MICE sector.
Section: General News - The Trade Exhibition Association (Thai) will cooperate with Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau or TCEB to launch the Thailand Exhibition and Conference Forum (TEC Forum), in a bid to stimulate the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) sector, as well as showcase Thailand's potential to the ASEAN market.
According to Supawan Treerat, the TCEB director, the MICE sector has been hard-hit by the economic downtown, reducing the sector's income from tourists and businessmen by up to 15%.
