MYINT Shwe fired a final round 74 for a three-day 222 to win the Pharmaton-Saujana Malaysian Senior Championship at the Saujana Golf and Country Club Palm Course yesterday.
The Myanmar golfer won by two strokes from South Korea's Kim Chang Hyun, who had a final round 75.
Myint Shwe, who led from the first day, bogeyed the 17th after missing the green while Chang Hyun made birdie from eight feet.
"I was shocked by the turn of events," said Myint Shwe, who thought he had the title sealed when he was three strokes up at the 16th.
Chang Hyun's tee shot at the par-five 18th hole found the edge of the bunker while Myint Shwe's drive split the fairway. …
