WINTERTON Rangers made a successful start on the long road to Wembley with a 4-2 win at Nottinghamshire club Greenwood Meadows in the FA Cup.

A brace from striker Liam Wilkin and one apiece from Gavin Cooper and Lee Wilkinson saw Rangers come back from 2-0 down against their East Midlands Counties League opponents.

Rangers nearly got away to the perfect start in the extra preliminary round clash.
