Section: General News - Alaska Milk Corporation, in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, reported that it posted a net income of P532 million for the second quarter of 2010, or 25 percent higher than the P425 million recorded in the same period last year.
This brought net income for the first half of the year to P1.06 billion, 70 percent higher than year-ago net income of P623 million.
Net sales grew six percent in the second quarter of 2010 to P2.85 billion from P2.69 billion in second quarter of 2009 as sales volumes across Alaska's core milk products continued to exhibit robust growth rates.
