Airport Fire and Rescue Dept holds 2-in-1 event.
The Airport Fire and Rescue Department yesterday received its Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) from Bengkel Kereta Berakas Sdn Bhd at a ceremony held at the Airport Main Fire Station, Department of Civil Aviation.
The guest of honour was Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications, Dato Paduka Awg Hj Alaihuddin Pehin Orang Kaya DiGadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Hj Awg Mohd Taha.
The new RIV, which is equipped with the latest fire extinguishing system and fire fighting and rescue equipment, is to replace the older RIV and to look after the fire safety and protection of helicopters in Category H-2. It will be located at the Istana Fire Station Heliport to …
