Audio, connectivity and location platforms provider CSR (LSE:CSR) announced on Monday that headphones manufacturer Sennheiser is using its apt-X audio technology to bring CD-quality sound to the new Sennheiser PXC 360 BT stereo headphones. No financial details were disclosed. CSR said Sennheiser is employing its apt-X CODEC on the BlueCore5-Multimedia audio platform to provide high audio quality via Bluetooth wireless technology.
