As expected, agencies came out in force at the BBC creative review briefing last week.
Around 80 agencies, including about 25 ad agencies, turned up. But the attraction of pitching for the business may have been tainted somewhat by the size of the PPQ (it's an inch thick) and the length of time the process will take. Submissions need to be in before 25 August, when the BBC will take a month to review applications, and the process runs right into the beginning of next year.
