from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KOTA BAHARU, Aug 1 (Bernama) -- The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will step up operations along deadly stretches, including Jalan Kuala Krai-Gua Musang during the coming festive seasons.
Its director-general, Datuk Solah Mat Hassan said the JPJ had identified 20 deadly stretches along Jalan Kuala Krai-Gua Musang due to frequent accidents there.
He said frequent accidents occurred along the stretches as they were poorly maintained and not upgraded while road signs were lacking.
