A CONMAN has been found guilty of trying to trick an elderly woman into paying for unnecessary gutter repairs. Police said Wayne Buckley called at the Market Harborough home of the 87-year-old in April and said her front guttering was blocked.

He said he could fix the problem for GBP20.

The woman was suspicious and called police. She later picked out Buckley in an identity parade.
