The Yorkshire Post was voted Best Daily Newspaper and O2's Best Overall Newspaper at the awards, which honour the region's finest writers, broadcasters and photographers.
The judges said the Yorkshire Post was "a great overall package" with lots of hard news and superb feature sections.
The judges added: "Its Saturday edition also has a really excellent weekend magazine thrown in."
The paper also won the Scoop of the Year award for reporter Rob Waugh's exposure of the "cavalier" use of public money at Leeds Metropolitan University.
