Philippines: Dell Phils. gears up to improve customer focus.

Section: Business News - Dell Philippines has formally started its transition from a single business division into two with the formation of large enterprise public sector and small medium business unit.

Dell, in its briefing, said this is meant to improve focus to the company's growing customer base and work closely with the channel community to deliver simple, flexible, high-value solutions to the two sectors.

In December 2008, Dell announced its plans reorganize the company globally around three major customer segments - large enterprise, public sector and small and medium business.

Dell's consumer business is already organized globally.
