If we choose to, we can all extract positive life lessons from our mistakes. But what is beginning to really annoy me is that an increasing number of people, especially many of my fellow Indonesians, are now obviously shying away from the good old-fashioned honest principle of courageously and openly admitting of having done wrong.
Aside from evidently doing their utmost to steer clear of having to call a spade a spade, they also do their damnedest to avoid the unpleasant consequences of their own actions.
