from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Ambon, Maluku, July 13 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is expected to visit the Hatta House in Banda where two of Indonesia's prominent nationalist leaders, Sutan Sjahrir and Mohammad Hatta, stayed during their exile.

Sutan Sjahir and Mohammed Hatta lived in the House in the 1930s when they were exiled to Banda by the Dutch colonial government.

During their stay, they adopted and educated several promising local youths, including Des Alwi who is now one of Banda's prominent community figures.

The house is now kept as a museum where there are some wonderful Javanese antiques.
