from BUSINESS LINE, July 14, 2010 Thiruvananthapuram, July 13 - The preliminary survey for the proposed hill highway spanning 1,157 km has been completed, according to the Minister for PWD and Finance, Mr T.M. Thomas Isaac.
Replying to questions in the State Assembly here on Tuesday, Mr Isaac said that the alignment of the 30 metre-wide highway was such that it would link the State's rural hinterland from north to south.
The hill highway would begin from Nandarapadavu in Kasaragod in the north and cut through Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta and Kollam districts before culminating at Kadukkara in …
