Western Province to rely on pack ZEENA ISAACS Rugby Correspondent WESTERN Province will rely mainly on their pack to lay a solid platform for them in the Currie Cup after losing virtually their entire backline to the Springbok team for Tri-Nations duty.

Scrumhalf Dewaldt Duvenage is the only remaining first-choice back in the Currie Cup team following the call-up of Gio Aplon, Jaque Fourie, Juan de Jongh and Bryan Habana to the national team, while Joe Pietersen and Peter Grant will be playing in France and Japan respectively.
