GOVERNOR Peter Obi of Anambra State yesterday handed over cheques of N500, 000.00 to each of the 177 communities in the state, which amounts to N88.5 million, to enable them beef up security in their areas.

The Governor, who gave them the money during a meeting with all the traditional rulers and town union presidents in Anambra at the Women Development Centre Awka, said the state government and people of Anambra State would not rest until the issue of security, which he described as his number one …
