Andy Stockhausen a.stockhausen@bepp.co.uk STEVE Coppell is calling on FIFA to introduce goal-line technology "without delay".

Bristol City's manager has joined the debate that has been raging ever since Frank Lampard's phantom goal was controversially disallowed during Sunday's World Cup clash between England and Germany in Bloemfontein.

The incident, which came at a crucial point in the game - England had just pulled the score back to 2-1 late in the first half - has led to fresh calls for modern technology to be introduced to help settle such issues in the future.
