Under-13s A FINE innings by captain Will Stabb ensured Frenchay Green kept up their winning ways in Section B. Stabb's 39 against Carsons/Mangotsfield was backed up with another good performance with the bat from team-mate Jesse Batt, whose 17 not out saw the team reach 134-5 to win by five wickets.
Earlier, some superb bowling from Matt Snell, who took 5-13, helped keep Carsons down to 133-9, after D Miles had made an excellent 61.
Three days earlier, Carsons/Mangotsfield (134-6) had suffered defeat at the hands of Hambrook (137-4) by six wickets, despite an innings of 60 from D Buckley-Miles. Danika Dyer, with 4-21, was the pick of the bowlers.
Bristol Phoenix (93-4) beat Winterbourne (90-5) by six wickets in the other game played.
