SWISS rolls weren't enough for a middle-aged man from Bristol who admitted to being stupid after stealing cookies from a Bristol supermarket.

Conely Barnett, 47, of Prewett Street in the city centre, had 30p in his pocket when he entered Asda in Bedminster, Bristol Magistrates Court heard yesterday, enough to pay for two 12p Swiss rolls.
