Prime Minister reviews progress on People's Works Programme.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani emphasised on prioritising of the development projects in a manner so as to bring the backward areas at par with the developed regions of the country. He urged for district level meetings of elected parliamentarians to identify the needs of the area for preparation of projects.
It would not only satisfy the people of the district but would also check duplication, overlapping and wastage of resources. The Prime Minister was chairing a special meeting here at the Prime Minister's Secretariat Tuesday to review the progress on People's Works Programme.
