A meeting of District Emergency Board was held here under the chairmanship of DCO Saeed Wahlah wherein 'Monsoon Flood Contingency Plan' was discussed to ensure its implementation during the possible torrential rains of the upcoming season. The chair directed different departments to make arrangements and remain on high alert to tackle possible flood like-situation.

He emphasised the role of Wasa, TMAs and municipal services department, saying it was important to maintaining proper flow of rainwater and discharging it from the low lying localities.
