Tension gripped the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) on Saturday morning, when security personnel maltreated a staffer from traffic department leading to a two-hour strike at Karachi Port. According to sources, the unionists, including United Workers Front, People's Workers Union, Labour Union and Progressive Workers Union protested and went on strike when a Port Security Force (PSF) man from Pakistan Navy, Arshad, slapped Sahib Zada at NOB Gate of the Karachi Port.
