PUBLIC ENTERPRISES Too many cooks Fears that the review of state-owned enterprises by public enterprises minister Barbara Hogan and finance minister Pravin Gordhan was halted to suppress their views are unfounded, say several well-placed public enterprises sources.

Government sources close to the two ministers also say it was the ministers themselves who suggested their review be put off because it was impractical and politically undesirable that parallel processes should take place at the same time.
