from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 (Bernama) -- The Education Ministry and Women, Family and Community Development Ministry will take over the implementation of the Permata Negara programme from 2012 when two relevant Acts have been amended by parliament, the prime minister's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor disclosed today.
Rosmah, who is also the patron of the programme, said according to the initial plan, the take-over by the two ministries should commence in March next year, but amendments to the Education Act 1996 and Childcare Centre Act 1984 needed time to be fine-tuned.
