NELSPRUIT--Australia may be heading home from the World Cup finals, but out-going coach Pim Verbeek will be paying close attention to the exploits of the Asian teams that remain in South Africa.

The Dutchman, who will take on a new role working in youth development in Morocco as of Aug. 1, has close connections with football in both Japan and South Korea after stints in the J.League and with the South Korean national team.
