'Above-guideline BP' often ignored.

Most doctors across Europe are willing to accept BP levels slightly above guideline limits, a Europe-wide survey of 2,629 doctors suggests.

The survey found that the mean systolic BP by which doctors were concerned was 148.8mmHg and half would act immediately unless systolic BP was over 168.2mmHg.
