World Cup can boost trade Dealing with small and medium Italian entrepreneurs can help to ease SA's crippling unemployment backlog, writes DAVID JACKSON ITALY has high hopes that the first-ever 2010 Soccer World Cup to be held on the African continent will have a positive spin-off in boosting its economic participation with SA, including small and medium business enterprises, the traditional backbone of the Italian economy. Italy, the World Cup holders, are defending their title in the tournament, which is sparking huge interest about SA among millions of Italian-speakers at home and abroad.
