I WISH to comment on your article about Aberdeen's Lord Provost Peter Stephen, pictured left, claiming about GBP3,000 per year of his GBP4,000 a year taxable clothing allowance.

You failed to mention that during his time as pensions convenor between 2003-2007, Councillor Stephen waived more than GBP20,000 in salary to which he was entitled.
