from BUSINESS LINE, June 14, 2010 Mumbai, June 13 - It is possible for banks with fewer branches to increase volumes in their retail business by using their existing network effectively and by improving cross-selling, says Mr K.V.S. Manian, Head, Consumer Banking, Kotak Mahindra Bank.

This year, the bank is targeting a 30 per cent expansion of its branch network even as it continues to focus on cross-selling to existing customers. The bank is also planning to add a travel card to its product suite, he says in an interview with Business Line.
