Vulisango backs Simmers fundraising scheme SIMON MUNDY Contributing Writer VULISANGO CEO Valence Watson yesterday threw his weight behind a fundraising scheme planned by mining company Simmer and Jack, in which Vulisango is the biggest shareholder, reflecting improved relations between the two companies after a long-running feud.

Mr Watson in November called for the sacking of several Simmers board members, including the chairman and CEO, because of poor operational performance. He had previously complained that Vulisango, Simmers's black empowerment partner, felt like an oppressed minority shareholder.
