PreS--The premise of this book/CD set is that when words are sung they are better remembered than when they are spoken. Eleven nursery rhymes, such as "Jack and Jill" and "Jack Be Nimble," have been translated from English into Spanish. Since the translations are literal, they are occasionally clunky, but on the whole, the Spanish lyrics work fairly well and, in some cases, even mimic the rhythm and rhyme of the English originals.
