Fire hits house in Quezon City.

A FIRE broke out yesterday in a house in Quezon City which was being used to store construction materials. Ricky Calayan, a resident of Azucena corner Waling-waling Streets in Barangay Roxas District, said that a fire also hit the buildingwhere slippers were being manufacturedbeside the house two years ago. We do not understand how they could they be issued business permits to operate with all the combustible materials they use when our area is clearly a residential area, Calayan, who lived from across the burnt house, told the Inquirer.
