The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has expressed fresh concern about the "partial implementation of the on-call duty facilitation allowance" and pointed out that most doctors have not been paid as at the end of May 2010.
The GMA has, therefore, called on the Director General of the Ghana Health Services (GHS) and the Directors of various Hospitals to clarify the situation of doctors with special local accommodation and rent arrangements.
