Forty years ago a young disc jockey from Bath, who went by the stage name of Mad Mick, was asked to compere the very first Glastonbury Festival.
This year organisers tracked him down to ask him to return to the fetival that Mick helped put on the world music map four decades ago.
Today Mad Mick is better known as former Concervative Bath councillor and estate agent Michael Ringham.
At the time of the very first festival Mick was just 23 years old and had the stage name Mad Mick chiefly because of his mildly erratic behaviour and his tendency not to conform to the public's general perception of a disc jockey at that time.
