Section: General News - Malacanang thanked the Catholic prelates for their acknowledgment of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's achievements in infrastructure projects and economic growth and stability, Deputy Presidential Spokesman Gary Olivar said on Monday.

Undersecretary Olivar, in his opening statement at a media briefing at the New Executive Building, also thanked the bishops for recognizing the principled stand of President Arroyo against aggressive population management, which is consistent with economic theory about the demographic dividend and the advantages of having a large domestic market.
