Kenyan and policewoman win Malakoff Penang Run.

GEORGE TOWN: A five-month pregnant woman was among 1,000 people who took part in the Malakoff Penang Run 2010 at Taman Perbandaran here yesterday.

Charlyn Holden, 31, a Mathematics teacher at the Dalat International School here, said she took part in the women's six-kilometre category to keep fit.

"I have been taking part in the run since it started in 2008," she added.

Holden said she took about 35 minutes to complete the distance, running at her own pace.

A 29-year-old Kenyan, Alfred Kemboi, was the fastest runner, finishing in 1 hour 30 minutes in the men's 26km open category.

"I am very happy as it is my first run in the race here," …
