Family of three killed in accident, 2 others injured.
RAWANG: Three members of a family were killed and another two seriously injured in an accident involving a car and a lorry at Km72 Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Ipoh here yesterday.
The accident occurred at 2am near a sharp bend during a slight rain.
Hulu Selangor police chief Superintendent Norel Azmi Yahya Affandi said the car driven by Mohamad Efendy Hamim, 32, was heading towards Kuala Lumpur when it collided with a lorry coming from Batang Kali heading towards Sungai Besar.
Efendy, his wife Norhaya Musa, 32, and their 6-year-old son Mohd Harith Iskandar, died on arrival at the Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital.
