NATIONAL junior Low Wei Sheng is confident of claiming his first national Under-18 crown in the 100Plus National Junior Grand Final in Kuantan on Sunday.

Wei Sheng began his campaign with an easy 21-13, 21-10 win over Akmal Hakim Yunus in a Group C match yesterday.

"I hope to finally win the title this year after doing well in other tournaments," said Wei Sheng.

"I have also qualified for the Youth Olympics in Singapore in August.

Obviously, everyone wants to do well in Singapore and while winning is a hope, my target is to reach the semi-finals and take it from there." In the Girls' Under-18 singles, Negri …
