The Co-operative Group has retained Rocket as its media planning and buying agency, following a pitch for the pounds 60 million business.

Rocket, part of Omnicom Media Group, retained the account after a final shoot-out against MediaCom North. Mindshare, which also pitched for the business, had been eliminated at an earlier stage.

Co-op called the review in March following its recent acquisition of the Somerfield supermarket chain and the Britannia Building Society. Rocket will continue to work across all elements of the Co-op …
