Mike Hessman's second home run of the game, a solo shot leading off the bottom of the 10th inning, gave the Buffalo Bisons a dramatic 8-7 win over the Toledo Mud Hens today in Coca-Cola Field.

The game was played before a crowd of 15,080, the largest thus far this season. The annual Kids Day game began at 10:35 a.m. and drew more than 10,000 schoolchildren.

Hessman drove the second pitch he saw from Toledo reliever Josh Rainwater deep over the wall in right-center for his International League-leading 16th homer and 51st RBI of the season. He also belted a …
