BIR tells court that actor John Lloyd Cruz deserves tax suit.

THE BUREAU OF INTERNAL Revenue (BIR) told the Metro- politan Trial Court (MTC) of Quezon City that city prosecutors had established probable cause in the indictment of actor John Lloyd Cruz for tax evasion.
Opposing an appeal by Cruz that the charge should be junked, the BIR said it had notified Cruz that he should present to revenue officers his books of accounts and other accounting records for 2004.
Cruz is claiming that he was not informed beforehand.
The BIR submitted its comment to Judge Alfredo Ampuan of MTC Branch 33 on May 14 after being directed by the court to comment on Cruzs motion filed through his counsel, …
