South Africa's Mobile TV Consortium (Mobile TV) announced that it has referred the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) to the Public Protector's Johannesburg office. The development follows an allegation that Icasa allowed MultiChoice to submit an application for a mobile television broadcasting licence, despite the pay-TV provider submitting a late application, reports Mybroadband News.
