from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- The Tanglin community polyclinic today presented certificates of appreciation to 85 of its clients who have managed to quit their smoking habit.

Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Health Department director Dr Ismail Abu Taat said the certificates were given to appreciate their effort to quit smoking in conjunction with the World No Tobacco Day 2010 scheduled for May 31.

"This programme is also aimed at increasing public awareness on the importance of quitting the smoking habit," he said at the certificate- presentation ceremony, here, today.
