[Unattributed Report: "Fifty-one Shari'ah Scholars Issue a Fatwa Urging Economic Boycott [of Israel]"]

Fifty-one Shari'ah scholars have issued a fatwa on the obligation to economically boycott Israel and those who advocate dealing with the occupying state. In a statement issued yesterday, the scholars said that the enemy occupying Palestine has displaced its people, shed their blood, destroyed their homes, mosques, schools, and farms, and wreaked havoc in Jordan. Its latest crimes were the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and preventing the entry of the most basic needs for its people.
