AFTER a hectic vacation with my son to nine cities in China last month, I'm really glad to be home. Here, things seem so much cheaper - even in comparison to China, where I found the clothing and shoes in big cities such as Wuhan or Zhengzhou to be much costlier than in Malaysia.

Anyhow, soon after touching down last Friday, I wasted no time checking out the newest retail mall in the Klang Valley - Empire Shopping Gallery - to indulge in my favourite pastime ... shopping.
